If you find yourself going to Disney World and do not have park tickets for every day of your trip, have no fear! There are so many different activities throughout Disney World that you and your family can take part in, all without entering the parks.

There’s the obvious pool day at your resort. You can kick back and relax at the pool, which most kids love doing. Grab some lunch at your resort or travel to another resort to experience some other amazing dining choices.

You can visit Disney Springs and spend time shopping and dining at the various shops and restaurants. You can take a ride on the Amphicars found at near the Boathouse. Or you can grab a ride on the Aerophile balloon to capture amazing views of Disney Springs and surrounding areas.

But did you know there’s other adventures and fun to be found at different Disney resorts?

Let’s start at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campgrounds. They offer a free nightly campfire sing-a-long with Chip & Dale! You can bring your own s’mores gear, or purchase a pack there. But to attend the campfire is free! The campfire is followed by a movie under the stars.

Also found at Disney’s Fort Wilderness are pony rides! While this is more suited for the younger crowd, they do also offer regular horseback riding and wagon rides. You can find all the info here at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. The pony rides are for kids at least 2 years old and who weigh under 80 pounds. A parent or guardian leads the child around a loop. This fun activity is only $8. While it only takes about 15 minutes, I still find this to be a very economical and magical experience for young kids! This is offered daily.

If getting your boots dirty isn’t quite your thing, there are some other fun things to do! Did you know that you can rent a boat? You can visit any of the marinas to rent a variety of watercraft that fits your family’s needs.

You can also take a monorail ride around the different resorts and by Magic Kingdom and Epcot. There’s a variety of different playgrounds at all the resorts you can visit. Just hop on a bus or drive over to one! You can visit 2 different mini golf courses for some fun too! And grownups, if you’re looking for an adult only good time, there are multiple golf courses available for play.

These are just some of the endless activities to be found in Disney without stepping foot into one of the parks. So if you’re planning your next trip, or even your first one, just know there are so many awesome things for your family to find without spending money on a park ticket. Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from the parks and just relax. But if you’re looking for something to fill your time, just check out Disney’s website for all this amazing place has to offer!
